Art for Advent – Seeing Red – 1st to 25th Dec. 2020
I was delighted to be one of the 25 invited artists to create a work for this exhibition. The brief was to create a piece 25cm x 25cm in any medium as long as it contained some red colour and could be contained in a particular frame. The gallery window was transformed into a giant Advent calendar with each artwork hidden behind a numbered ‘window’. Each day a new piece would be revealed. I created a piece called ‘Quieten’ which you can see on my ‘work’ > ‘collage’ page.

Back & Fill – The Round Tower, Old Portsmouth
Fri. 30th Oct until Sun. 1st Nov. ’20
Two of my new collage pieces will be part of a forthcoming exhibition in Old Portsmouth later this month. Back & Fill is an exhibition, part of a larger project instigated by Marine Studios in Margate. The aim of the project is to unite coastal communities across the UK in a shared creative purpose. The aim is to demonstrate the importance of art in regeneration within difficult times.
See article in The Guardian for further information:
